Are you a proven expert in the area of customs and export control , have you already gained initial disciplinary or technical management experience and would now like to take the next step in your career ? Responsibilities
High-level expertise – You will be the single point of contact for all global customs and export control issues, monitoring regulatory changes and trends in global trade and tax legislation and ensuring 100% compliance with international regulations. Strategic management – Together with your team, you are responsible for the import-export processes, tariff classifications and AEO certification. You will also be responsible for customs reporting to ensure compliance with national and international laws and tax regulations. Leading a team of experts – You know how to motivate your team, provide clear direction and specifically promote individual strengths – always with a focus on collaboration and mutual respect. Process design & collaboration – You will work closely with internal stakeholders from tax, legal, finance and logistics and coordinate the implementation of global customs processes. Audits & knowledge transfer – You train internal teams, lead audits and ensure that customs know-how is sustainably anchored in the organization.
Skills & Experience

Senior customs expert or technical team leader with development potential – You have at least 5 years of experience in customs and export control, ideally from an authority, an international organization or the consulting environment. Academic background & motivation for further training – You have completed a degree in customs, law or economics, are continuously training and are particularly interested in regulatory developments. Leadership skills – You have already provided professional guidance to colleagues, been responsible for large projects or led a small team. Now you would like to take the next step and take on a top management role in an international company. Stakeholder management & risk assessment – You navigate confidently in an international environment, communicate confidently with authorities and internal decision-makers and always keep an eye on legal and economic risks. Analytical and strategic view – You understand complex issues quickly, set priorities and drive measures forward effectively. Languages & Internationality – You speak German and English fluently and feel at home in a global environment.
